Letter from the Chapter
Welcome Potential New Members!
The lovely ladies of Sigma Kappa are incredibly excited for recruitment and we hope you are, too! Recruitment is one of the most highly anticipated events of sorority life here at the Zeta Phi chapter. We are eager and excited to meet and get to know the incredible women that will soon share our mystic bond. While we all absolutely love Rutgers, we do realize how large the campus is and how easy it can be to feel lost and overwhelmed. Joining Sigma Kappa is a great way to find your home away from home and meet the women that will be your sisters for life. Words cannot even begin to describe the love I have for Sigma Kappa. Being a part of this sisterhood means you will always have a group of sisters there to love, support, and value you. I know that the friendships and connections I have made here within Sigma Kappa with continue far beyond graduation. It's not just four years, it's for life.
It is my sincerest hope that you will join the Greek community during your time here at Rutgers University. I was in your shoes only a year ago, so I know that recruitment can be a trying and overwhelming process, but here at Rutgers there is a place for every woman amongst the Panhellenic chapters. I truly found my home here at Sigma Kappa, and I hope you find yours soon, too. Being a sorority woman is an invaluable experience that should be cherished by all. On behalf of the entire Zeta Phi chapter, I wish you the best and hope you will find a place here amongst our sisters!
Love in Sigma Kappa,
Vice President of Membership
